House rules
We have outlined a number of house rules that you can expect within Hotel Van der Valk Nuland – ’s-Hertogenbosch and what is expected of you as a visitor. When entering the premises, the house rules of Hotel Van der Valk Nuland – ’s-Hertogenbosch apply and you agree to the house rules set out below:
All instructions from employees related to the house rules must be followed immediately.
To maintain the peace in the immediate vicinity of Hotel Van der Valk Nuland – 's-Hertogenbosch, it is not permitted to cause noise disturbance.
To provide you and your family, friends, and acquaintances with a pleasant stay, it is prohibited to possess, use, or trade drugs or weapons. (This also includes the use of whipped cream cartridges and laughing gas).
At Hotel Van der Valk Nuland – ’s-Hertogenbosch, smoking is prohibited. If smoking in the rooms is detected, we will be forced to charge a cleaning fee of €250.00 or removal from the hotel.
The use of the emergency exits is only permitted in case of emergency.
We treat each other with respect, and it is therefore prohibited to make insults or discriminatory remarks. In addition, it is forbidden to intimidate our visitors and staff (sexually) by word or gesture.
Hotel Van der Valk Nuland – ’s-Hertogenbosch must comply with the requirements of the Alcohol Licensing and Catering Legislation, therefore we do not serve alcoholic beverages to visitors under the age of 18. If there is any doubt about a visitor's age, staff will ask you to show identification.
To prevent the atmosphere during the stay from being negatively affected, no alcohol will be served to the person in question if intoxication is suspected.
During your stay, you will use the property of Hotel Van der Valk Nuland – ’s-Hertogenbosch and third parties; it is forbidden to commit theft or vandalism.
To maintain peace, order, and safety within the hotel, it is prohibited to use violence or to threaten with violence.
Hotel Van der Valk Nuland – 's-Hertogenbosch does not make its location available for purposes other than those established in our policy, therefore it is prohibited to trade or fence goods.
Rooms and public areas may not be used for business purposes unless agreed upon with management.
The staff of Hotel Van der Valk Nuland – ’s-Hertogenbosch watch over your safety, in case of emergencies, the emergency plan will be activated. You are kindly yet urgently requested to follow any instructions from the staff.
We appreciate you using the public spaces, however, this is at your own risk.
Do not leave your belongings unattended at the location of Hotel Van der Valk Nuland – ’s-Hertogenbosch and in your car. Hotel Van der Valk Nuland – ’s-Hertogenbosch is not liable for the loss, damage, or theft of your belongings. Parking, both in the parking lot and in the vicinity of Hotel Van der Valk Nuland – ’s-Hertogenbosch, is at your own risk. You must also park your car in the designated parking spaces. If your parked car causes danger or inconvenience, it may be towed away.
Hotel Van der Valk Nuland – ’s-Hertogenbosch applies a retention period of 1 month for lost and found items.
By entering Hotel Van der Valk Nuland – ’s-Hertogenbosch, you agree to surveillance cameras to protect you and your belongings. Violating the house rules or not following instructions may result in a warning, fine, or denial of access to the public areas of Hotel Van der Valk Nuland – ’s-Hertogenbosch. Crimes are always reported to the police.
It is not allowed to light candles due to fire safety. The security system will be activated immediately.
When checking in, a valid ID must be shown. Check-in is available from the age of 18. This applies to all persons in the room. Minors must always be accompanied by a parent/guardian (at least 25 years old).
It is not permitted to receive unregistered or other hotel guests in the room. If other guests are found in the room, you will be asked to leave the hotel immediately.
It is forbidden to film or photograph employees or other guests within our Hotel Nuland building.
It is forbidden to rent the room in your name without staying in the room yourself.
It is prohibited to stay in the room with more than the permitted number of people.
It is prohibited to bring pets without notifying in advance. This is only possible based on availability.
It is prohibited to extend your stay on your own initiative. If you wish to extend, you can do so in consultation with our reception and for a fee at the applicable rate. Checking out must be done before 11:00 a.m.
